Game On !!!

Exercised well, good eating and tiny "cheating."  But overall, been good and it shows.

A New Year, A New Day, A New Me !

Well, when you deviate from one's healthy life style, the weight comes right back on.  It seems that the body is accustomed to a certain weight and tends to gravitate ( yes, gravitate) back to where it has been for so long. Thus, my theory is that one needs discipline to achieve one's goal AND one needs to stay there diligently for quite some time for the body to completely adjust to the reduced weight.  Then, it will be easier to maintain the lower weight.  OKAY...enough philosophy from a quasi MD.

Anyway, good alcohol, goodbye junk food and hello healthy food again.  Also, hello again to daily workouts of 75 minutes a day to keep the engine primed.

I'm Back !!!!!!

It's good to get back on the blog.  As one can see, my weight has increased a little and I am not a happy camper.  But truth be told, I have not been strictly adhering to my life style as it relates to food and exercise.

The good part is I possess the techniques and now I am back on the saddle.

My goal is a healthy 165 lbs.

Weather is getting nice so I'm going after the goal.

Good to be back.

In a Holding Pattern !

I know I can chisel away some more weight as my my body is getting toner.  I am starting to focus on my abs and incorporating light weights into my daily exercise regimen.  Truth be told, I am doing a little cheating with the diet or more accurately, a lifestyle of  health and well being.  Effective immediately, I am back into gear and will focus.  The results should be apparent shortly.  Stay tuned....

This blog is really for me as it enables me to truly observe and report.  Great tool !

It's A Very Very Special Day - Initial Goal is Met - 30 lbs GONE !!!!!!!

It has been a wonderful journey thus far.  Losing 30 lbs in a healthy manner is a simply "delicious" feeling.  I have more energy, my mind is clear, my body is trim and I have increased self-esteem.  As a true Type "A" personality, I have established a new goal to drop an additional ten pounds to achieve the "look and feel" which will complete the "transformation."  Then, it will be a matter of maintaining this weight through the continuation of my new healthy diet and lifestyle.
